The concept behind this theme is to create an old country western style theme. The ideas for decorations are only limited by your imagination. You may choose to use old rusty wheelbarrows to scatter throughout the room and use them as ice coolers. You could buy small rusted metal pails and fill them with flowers to use as centerpieces. On the invitation you’ll want to invite all the guests to bring their favorite ice cream toppers and their favorite ideas on how to build the perfect sundaes and banana splits. When everyone arrives you can surprise your guest of honor with the biggest and craziest bowl of ice cream. Another idea would be to purchase a large gutter section from a home improvement store and serve the ice cream varieties in a trough style.
Black and White. With this theme you’ll encourage all the guests to dress in black and then have your guest of honor dressed in white (or vice versa). This is a party that may be a large amount of fun without stretching the budget. Decorations should be what you would expect in a spy HQ or coaching academy. Many of us can draw them or print them from online. Some glorious examples would be targets for target practice, code ciphers, a briefcase or 2, folders with "Top Secret" stamped on them, and one or two building schematics tacked onto a notice board for an authentic feeling.
Food for a party like this doesn't need to be intricate. Children love pizza so pizza and pop are glorious decisions with cake and ice cream to follow. If pizza isn't your thing think kid friendly with easy clean up when setting plans for the menu. If you would like to be truly wicked you can make the mission about finding the stash of presents ( you'll have to cover all the gifts as they arrive however to make this work ) but it's a fun game to play and the notion of a spy mission birthday is typically appealing to both lads and lasses. When doing the planning for your spy themed birthday celebration be certain to make it fun and challenging though not over the heads of the age group for which you are planning.
